Gift Bags with Pressed Flowers & Leaves

          Thank you to Donna Pasman for bringing us this great craft idea!

        You will need to bring to the meeting:

                - pressed flowers and leaves (the bag shown has 6 pressed pansies, 3 small leaves,

                and one large flower/leaves at front) - the bag measures  approximately 6 inches high

                by 4 inches across and 1 1/2 inches deep * bring lots of flowers, so that you can make

                                                  more than one gift bag

                                                                    - waxed paper (just bring your whole box in case you make a mistake :)

                                               - any ribbon for using as "handles"

                                                - sharp scissors

                                                - box(es) to "wrap" the paper bags around as we are making them - the size of the box

                                                    will determine the size of the bag.  I used a Sifto salt box for the bag illustrated, but

                                                    rummage through your kitchen cupboards for different shapes - I think even paperback

                                                    books with crisp edges would work!

                                        We will provide double-sided tape (unless you want to bring your own),   and instructions.

                        ** We will make a "practice" bag using a sheet of regular paper first, then you can make as many bags

                            as you wish on your own... Prepare to have fun and go home with a great gift bag!
